Important message for all college curlers:

The national college curling championship tournament in Chicago will be cancelled for the coming season. In recent years we have seen more and more teams from everywhere in the country desiring to enter the national tournament. With limited funds and facilities the board of directors has decided to change our business model to serve additional curlers, both men and women curlers. The new format will also allow teams to save a lot of travel costs getting to and from college events.

The college curling program is announcing three college championship tournaments located in strategic locations to accommodate more curlers. With different dates teams can enter more than one of the regionals in order to provide additional competitive events during the season. In recent years the annual event in Chicago has handled as many as forty teams at Chicago and North Shore curling clubs. We have been turning down as many as 18 teams in 2010 and 2011. It has become time to bring more student curlers into the program and competitive college curling events.

Now we announce three new regional events in the coming season!
